College history

The Lyceum began its history in the distant sixties. The rise of the economy, industry, spiritual and cultural life, scientific and technological revolution. The beginning of the flourishing of the textile industry and the service sector. It was during these years in the West Kazakhstan region of the republic that there was a need to train new young personnel for the service sector and utilities. Specialists were needed for the ever-expanding network of regional households, consumer houses, ateliers, hairdressing salons and other service sectors for both urban and rural populations.

So, in 1960, the first educational institution was opened, the main goal of which was to train specialists in the field of consumer services.

It was Vocational school 12. The first enrollment consisted of 175 people. These were mainly girls from different parts of the region, who came from rural household factories or after leaving school, those who chose the profession of a tailor, hairdresser, and photographer. During its existence, the Lyceum has repeatedly changed its status, but the scope and goal have remained unchanged – training for the service sector.

For 55 years, the college has trained more than 25,000 qualified specialists. 40 former graduates: Zhinaleeva D.S., Belova G.L., Popova O.G., Lukashova I.G., Kuatova D.K., Kuzhakova T.K., Brasheva G.S., Egorova O.G. ., Pudovkina I.P., Sergazieva B.Zh., Gumirova A.E. and others successfully work in college. A stable creative engineering and teaching team has been working here for many years. 53% of teachers and masters of industrial training have the highest and first categories.

SCMO “UTC” Service “is an educational institution that trains highly qualified specialists in the following specialties:

  • “Sewing production and clothing modeling”;
  • “Catering”;
  • “Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics”;
  • “Service Manager”.

This is a modern complex consisting of 14 training and production workshops, 24 classrooms, a training studio, a training cafe, a training hairdresser, a laboratory for cooks, classrooms, a medical complex, a dormitory for 300 seats, assembly and sports halls, computer rooms, a reading room and library, dining room,

The professions prepared by the college are in demand in the market, 84% of graduates are employed.

Industrial training of students is carried out in their own educational and production workshops, which fully satisfy the needs for practice.

A team of authors has been created at the college, which develops teaching aids, methodological complexes, textbooks. The publishing house “Foliant” has published 3 textbooks: “The Industrial source of teaching tailors” (Methodical technic) (authors: Galieva N.Kh., Dzhumalieva K.K., Shmidt N.A., Zhinaleeva D.S.); “Calculation and accounting” (authors: Smolkina VA, Schmidt NA, Shaimardanova AN); “Organization of public catering (authors: V. Smolkina, N. Schmidt, A. Shaimardanova).

Participation in regional, republican and international competitions is of great importance in the college.

Based on the results of 2000 and 2006 years  the college was recognized as the winner of regional competitions, and at the Republican stages it took in 2000, 2006. – III place “The best vocational school (lyceum)”.

Master of industrial training Zhinaleeva D.S. became the winner of the Republican competition “Master of the Year – 2002”. I.G. Lukashova, teacher of special disciplines recognized as the winner in the regional competition “The best teacher of special disciplines – 2003”. Master of industrial training Savonina L.V. took  the 1st place in the regional competition “Best in profession” Specialist of catering establishments “(2005).

Master of industrial training Siraeva R.D. and students of M. Solovyova and G. Zhangabaeva became winners of the regional competition of professional skills in the profession “Tailor”, and at the Republican stage, industrial training master Siraeva R.D. – took II place, students of Marina Solovieva I place (2007)

The State Enterprise “UTC“ Service ”has been cooperating with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (Saratov, Engels) for several years. a bilateral agreement was signed between the state institutions of the State Enterprise “UTK” Service “and PL No. 34 (Engels, Russia).

Within the framework of international cooperation, the master of industrial training in the profession “Cook” Savonina L.V. and students N. Koroleva, R. Kurmangalieva took part in a professional skill competition in Engels (Russia), where they won two first places and one second.

Masters of industrial training in the profession “Hairdresser” Ibatova R.N., Urazova G.K. participated in the correspondence regional competition of professional skills among hairdressers and took II-III places (2009).

Kazakh language teacher Sultanov A.T. repeatedly participated in regional competitions for teachers of the Kazakh language and took places. In the regional competition for the best methodological development of a Kazakh language lesson, he took the II place (2010) and in the regional competition “The Best Teacher” took the III place (2015)

In 2012 at the regional competition “The best teacher” – the teacher of the Kazakh language Dzhumalieva K.K. took  the 1st place, in 2013. at the competition “Festival of methodological ideas” – master of industrial training in the profession “Fashion designer-cutter” Kuzhakova T.K. took the first place. In the regional competition “The best in the profession” the master of industrial training in the profession “Cook” Kurmangalieva R.M took the III place, and in 2014 the master of industrial training Alemesheva A.M. took part in the same competition. and took the 1st place of honor. Teacher of special disciplines Davletova G.M. 2014 in the regional competition “Festival of Methodological Ideas” took the III place, in the regional competition “The Best Teacher” took the III place (2015).

In the regional XXI scientific and practical readings participated in the following areas:

  • “Linguistics” – student R. Taspaeva (1st place, 2013).
  • “Applied art and music” – student A. Beregenova (1st place, 2013).
  • “Applied art and music” – student M. Polshikova (IIІ place, 2013).
  • “Ecology and Oil Industry” – student M. Kozhikova (IІ place, 2013).
  • Conference on the theme: “Linguistics” – student Samigullina N. (II place, teacher Dosali L.K., 2013).

For 2014-2015 academic year 10 educational and methodological complexes and manuals were prepared, 8 of which were approved by the regional scientific and methodological association at the regional educational and methodological office of TVE organizations and 2 manuals were approved by the methodological council of the college and published by the WKO F JSC “NNTPTs”.

To develop the creative abilities of students in the college in 1993, an experimental laboratory of the Fashion Theater was created

The collection now includes over 380 models. The leading masters of industrial training and teachers participate in the creation of the collection: Lukashova I.G., artistic and musical director and director Belova O.V., the work of the Theater is headed by the deputy director for OIA – Kupeshova U.K.

Senior foreman Lukashova I.G. two collections were developed and shown on the theme: “Historical costume” and “Galaxy”. At the Interregional Festival of Student Creativity “On Nikolaevskaya-2011” in Orenburg, organized by the Ministry of Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, where the team of the Lyceum took 2nd place (2011).

It is impossible to imagine a college today without social partners. Cooperation with some began 55 years ago. These relations not only do not weaken, but grow stronger and develop. Our social partners today are:

We have been assigned the main task – to meet the requirements of the labor market for qualified workers that the employer needs. Today, the college trains specialists in 4 areas: “Sewing production and clothing modeling”, “Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics”, “Catering”.

The innovation process is based on a systemically organized scientific and methodological work, which is aimed at forming the pedagogical culture of all subjects of education, including methodological, research, professional and moral, diagnostic and managerial culture.

The state order for the training of workers and specialists for the 2016-2017 academic year amounted to 183 people, including 25 people under the Republican project “Youths of country”.
